Believe
Faith is believing in the unbelievable. It is doing the impossible. If it were possible in the natural, whether to believe or do, then it would not be faith. Faith is not logical or reasonable, it is super-natural. It is God-inside minded. If faith is not believing the unbelievable than it is not believing at all. We must take God at His Word. If He said it, then it is true. It cannot be subjected to our own interpretation and adjustments, it must be believed on as it is.
In Mark 11:23, we read: “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” This defines, pretty well, what is believing the unbelievable. Who in their “right mind” would believe that they could cast a mountain into the sea with just their believing and speaking? It is unbelievable, but because Jesus said it, it is true. Faith is not based on our ability, but on God’s ability. It is having faith in Someone who is “able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,” (Ephesians 3:20).
The key to faith is believing in your heart. If you believe in your heart, no one can change your mind. Doubting produces fear, instability and fruitlessness. Believing produces convictions, confidence and results. What you believe with your heart, you will speak out boldly. Our confession reveals what our heart believes.
Reason sees things as possible only through human strength. Faith sees things as possible only through Divine intervention. It is seeing in the spirit what God is about to do. Once you see it in your spirit, then you can be assured that it will happen. You can live by faith, which is experimenting the supernatural, when you keep your heart clean of doubt. Doubts may rise up in our minds, but we must take them captive and subject them to what God has said in His Word. If we allow them to remain in our mind, they will find their way into our heart. It is like chewing a piece of meat. The longer it stays in our mouth and is chewed, the more likely it will be swallowed.
Spit out all doubt. If God said it, it is true. Think on His Word, meditate on it day and night. Let it get into your heart and then speak it out will all boldness. The enemy will try to access your heart, by what he puts in your mind. Rise up against this “faith-thief” and Believe God. “Greater is He that is in you, then he who is in the world,” (I John 4:4).
