Reimer Report – Fall 2024

Dear friends and family,

We are almost to September. Where has the summer gone? Before Helen and I start a busy Fall travel schedule, I want to give you an update so you can go with us in your thoughts and prayers. This summer I went two times to Angola, preaching in conferences and Bible school graduations. It is so good to see fruit that is multiplying all across the nation. There are some concerns that I am burdened about, though, that has to do with a primary school that was begun by a church group we have been overseeing. The school has around 80 students, (grades 1-6). They have been able to build a structure that can potentially hold 300 students, but have not been able to finish it. It is a poor area of Luanda where families do not have access to other schools and very little possibility of paying tuitions. I believe we can help by arranging 80 sponsors, giving a monthly gift of $25.00. This would provide for the salaries of the teachers and the materials for the students. To finish the building, would take more, but the local churches are working on this. I believe that children in the more developed countries can get involved in helping these children with their education. Any volunteers?

Helen and I have been especially burdened by the suffering of the innocent. There are so much abuse and corruption in so many of the places we have been ministering. Our biggest concern is with the children. Every child needs to have an opportunity to live in peace and have their basic needs provided for. Our missionaries, Telma and Tiago Santos, in São Tomé, have been ministering to 300 children; teaching them to read and write, how to work as a team in football (soccer) clubs, discipling in small groups and providing a single meal a day. Eugénio and Anastacia Carvalho, in Guinea Bissau, are providing for and teaching blind children as well as providing a primary level education for the poor. Such brave missionaries, who have left the comforts of Europe to give their lives to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to the nations. These couples have been trained by us in Portugal and have caught the vision for the nations. They are good ground to sow into. Madagascar is continuing to bear fruit, even without the presence of Brandon and Anna Kindleberger. The work is all indigenous now, but they still need our help in their mission of church planting and mission work into the Comoros Islands. List goes on and on…

Pray for us as more doors are opening for our ministry in the training up of indigenous workers. The world is being shaken, but the Gospel is going forth as never before. Problems cause opportunities. We saw this in Morocco with the earthquake that happened last year. There is now so much more openness for the Gospel and we have been able to establish some amazing links with the local believers. We see this happening in other places as well.

Thank you so much for coming along side of us, as we have gone to these nations. Your support and prayers are producing much fruit. Pray also for the distribution of my new book, ABBA. It is an important teaching on the Fatherhood of God and our relationship to Him as His children. Buy it on Amazon here:
