Reimer Report – Spring 2023

Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings from Portugal. We just want to give you all a quick update on our ministry schedule for the upcoming months. At the beginning of this year, we received a Word from the Lord about going to the churches where we have invested in, to strengthening them. This prophetic word came through our son, but is also based in Acts 15:41, where Paul went through Syria and Cilicia to strengthen the churches. We felt a confirmation of this and have been first doing this in Portugal and soon we will be traveling out of the country. So that you can follow us in prayer here are the dates of our upcoming ministry schedule.

After a quiet winter, as you see, we are gearing up for a busy travel schedule. We will give more updates for the Fall, but already we have a number of trips planned for Africa and Europe. Pray for our health and strength for the ministry and travel ahead. We have been undergoing a number of exams, (heart related), to be sure we are fit for the assignments God has given us, and as a result, we have had to adjust our diet and watch our blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Since the health system here in Portugal has suffered a lack of personnel, it is almost impossible to see a family doctor through the social services and have had to go to private clinics. This has become more and more expensive and we are needing to create a special fund just for future possible needs.

When Paul said that other than the physical difficulties he was facing there was this daily pressure on him for his concern for the churches. (2 Corinthians 11:28) I know what he means. As the ministry is growing to include many nations and our sending out of new missionaries into several new nations, this pressure increases. Do pray for us in the raising up of disciples to carry the load, for the increase of finances in traveling to the various mission fields and the overall support of those who have gone out. We are excited to see the desire of Generation Z to go into all the world with the Gospel. I believe God’s hand is on the youth of today and revival is in the “air”. It is given to our generation to help equip, support and release them into the harvest.

Please, partner with us through prayer, financial support, and in-the-field ministry involvement. We need you with us! Contact us directly or through our mission site: www.simissions.org and/or j.reimer@logoscc.org.

Be blessed,

Jim and Helen
