Reimer Report – Winter 2020

Dear Family and Friends,

Here we are at the end of 2020. So many adjustments and trials we have all had to endure this year! Yet, as Paul said, “in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37) As I have looked back over this year, I entitle it as a year of Grace. By grace, I mean a year of God’s power working in and through us. It has not been noted for a year personal triumphs, in which we can boast, but of God’s ability and power working on our behalf. We have tried to be diligent and excellent in the work the Lord has given us to do, but His strength has lifted us far beyond our own capabilities. We have sensed the Lord’s protection each day and provision has never lacked. New doors have opened in various nations and the restrictions to travel has not deterred us from ministering beyond our borders. Thanks to the internet, we have been able to minister in distant places. As we look back over the year, we just raise a big Hallelujah with thankful hearts.

During 2020, I was able to write a book on spiritual warfare entitled: Layered Warfare. It has had a good reception here in Europe and we have plans of getting it translated into various languages. The smaller booklets of the Ecclesia series are already in three different languages and are finding their way into many different nations. I sense such a grace and anointing in writing books that give understanding to spiritual truths and, while I am home, I plan to do more writing. You can buy these books on our website directly or via Amazon for the Kindle version. The devotionals that you can find on the SIM site are in book form in Portuguese and, as we have can, we want to publish them in English. Helen has been prolific in her art projects and in early 2021 she will have her paintings displayed in a restaurant nearby.

We are looking forward to 2021. The world has been shaken by this pandemic and I believe so many more people are more open Gospel now than they were before. As we have the strength, we want to be faithful to be about the Lord’s business. I have found that the Good, many times, is the enemy of the Best. There is a High Calling that burns in our hearts and a passion for souls that motivates us to go to the ends of the world. What is seen is passing away and only the Eternal will remain. Pray for us as we consider our agenda for this coming year. We have preferences where were we would love to be and so many opportunities, but above all we want to be where God wants us to be.

Thank you for your love and prayers.

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year

Jim and Helen
